5D Doldrums
Why the Fifth Dimension Looks a Lot Like Tuesday
People ask what it’s like in the 5th Dimension – well it’s pretty much SSDD only it’s Same Sh*t Different Dimension. Or like the Israelites song lyrics say:
I wake up every morning, slaving for bread Sir, So that every mouth can be fed
Except, I’m savvy now. I don’t bemoan my life’s beginning and middle and definitely not my end! You see, I used to do that a lot because life had not become the shiny, glitzy experience that I was sure it was going to be when I dreamt my dreams as a kid.
Sure, I lived my dream of becoming a professional dancer, but those years were fraught with doubts and dodgy experiences trying to keep me down.
“Down where” you ask?
In the doldrums! A lovely word meaning “a state of inactivity, stagnation, or low spirits (the ‘blues’)” – which, sadly, is where many of us reside for a lifetime – often more as we strive to wake up to something better.
It is not my purpose to wander into conspiracy theories here, but Science and strategic spirituality have hit the nail on the head when they speak of vibrational energy. You need to realize that your observation and your focus is rendering the reality around you. And that’s simply quantum mechanics. It’s provable.
Right now, as you replay the trauma and play the victim, trying to be ‘grateful’ and failing miserably — nothing is changing. Why is it so?
Because your attention is the lens, and whatever you point it at, you magnify. That’s not mysticism. That’s quantum mechanics — specifically the Observer Effect, which tells us that the act of observation itself changes what’s being observed. Once you truly see something, it is known. And what is known loses its power to terrify you.
Here’s what that means in plain language: the moment you stop being swept along by your circumstances and start watching them instead — with some distance, some curiosity, even some dark humour — something shifts. You move from passenger to driver. From reaction to response. That shift is the beginning of everything.
This is what real Awareness looks like. Not blissed-out detachment. Not pretending the hard stuff isn’t hard. It’s more like learning to stand in the eye of the storm and notice that the storm, for all its noise, cannot touch you at the centre. From there, you begin to move out of victim mode and into equanimity — a steadiness that doesn’t deny the chaos but is no longer at its mercy.
And from that steadiness, something remarkable becomes possible: gratitude for all of it. Light and dark alike. Because here’s the truth that took me a long time to stop arguing with —
Polarity = opposing forces creating stability. We’ve been the spoke in our own wheels by fighting what we believe are negatives upsetting our desired positives. But the two are one in terms of balance. They need each other and it’s only when you get upset that the balance is lost and you my dear reader are the one who ends up losing the battle of freedom.
Because that’s what 5D is all about – the opening up of Freedom to your whole existence. Never to be dominated again by bosses; bad hair days or boredom.
Allow the limitations to bring you into Presence. Spirituality isn’t the absence of all conflict. It’s the alchemization of Presence with pain and conflict and all of the feelings that underpins the quality of 5D – the stepping off point to deeper meaning and growth for the next realms – but first you have to drop the poor me veil.
This is to be your shining moment. And if you’re ready to stop circling the airfield and start claiming the freedom that’s already yours, my ACE™ It To Freedom Course was built precisely for this. Leave me a note and I’ll get you the details.
It’s a great day for being alive…
